Three ways to type with your voice. Tap Ctrl twice to switch.
Clean writing, ready-to-send AI prompts, or your exact words — one key to talk, one double tap to change mode.

Pithflow is AI voice typing for Windows: hold Ctrl + Space in any app, speak, release, and the text lands where your cursor is. It has three modes. Structured cleans up what you said, Prompting turns it into a clean prompt for an AI, and Raw keeps your exact words. Tap Ctrl twice to switch.
"okay so um I want you to look at the login page and like see why it's slow I don't know maybe it's the database and also can you uh can you add a dark mode to the settings and yeah also check why the login page is slow on mobile too"
Okay, so I want you to look at the login page and see why it's slow. I don't know, maybe it's the database. Also, can you add a dark mode to the settings? And also check why the login page is slow on mobile too.
Cleaned up, your wording kept
I want you to do two things: 1. Find out why the login page is slow, including on mobile. Maybe it's the database. 2. Add a dark mode to the settings.
A clean prompt for any AI — never answered

Every word as spoken, no AI rewrite
In the app: tap Ctrl twice, or right-click the bar.
Cleans up what you say — filler, false starts, punctuation — and follows your Style settings.
Use it for
Email, docs, chat, anything a person reads.
Turns a spoken ramble into a clean prompt: repeats gone, separate asks numbered. It never answers it.
Use it for
ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, any AI box.
Your words exactly as spoken: punctuation, numbers and spoken commands only. No AI rewriting.
Use it for
Quotes, legal or medical wording, anything that must not be reworded.
Most voice typing tools put modes behind a settings window. In Pithflow the switch is a gesture, so you can change it between two sentences without your hands leaving the keyboard:
Prefer the mouse? Right-click the floating bar to move to the next mode. The order is always Structured → Prompting → Raw → Structured.
| Structured | Prompting | Raw | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Removes filler and false starts | Yes | Yes | No |
| Follows your tone and intent settings | Yes | No, it writes a prompt | No |
| Numbers separate requests | Only if you dictate a list | Yes, 2+ asks become a list | No |
| AI rewrites your wording | Lightly | Into a prompt | Never |
| Spoken commands ("new line", "period") | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Windows voice typing is free and built in, and for short phrases it's fine. It has one way of working: it transcribes what you said, so you dictate punctuation and clean up afterwards. Pithflow adds the choice — cleaned-up writing when a person will read it, a structured prompt when an AI will, and the literal transcript when nothing may change. Tap Ctrl twice quickly, on its own. Each double tap moves to the next mode — Structured, then Prompting, then Raw, then back to Structured — and the floating bar shows the new mode's name for a moment. Right-clicking the bar does the same thing. This is in the Windows app from version 1.40.6.
No. Only two clean taps of Ctrl by itself count. Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Shift and any other combination never switch the mode. If you'd rather not use the gesture at all, it can be turned off in the Style settings, and right-clicking the bar still works.
Structured. It's the everyday mode: it cleans up filler and false starts and follows your Style settings (tone, intent, formatting). Switch to Prompting when you're about to talk to an AI tool, and to Raw when you need your exact words.
No. Prompting and Raw override your settings only while they're active. Rotate back to Structured and your tone, intent and formatting are exactly as you left them.
No. Raw skips the AI rewrite, but your audio is still sent to Pithflow's servers to be turned into text, so you need an internet connection in every mode.
