Pithflow is a one-person company. Here's who that person is.
I'm a bilingual founder with 20 years of programming behind me, and I build Pithflow from two desks: one in Modesto, California, the other in Morelia, Mexico. I grew up switching between English and Spanish mid-sentence, and I write software the same way I talk — in both languages, often in the same paragraph.
Dictation tools treat Windows users as an afterthought — most of the polished options started on Mac and shipped a port later. Bilingual speakers get it even worse: Windows' built-in voice typing falls apart the moment a sentence drifts from English into Spanish and back. I wanted a dictation app that was built for Windows from day one, kept my audio private, and understood the way people like me actually speak. Nobody was building it, so I did.
I post on Threads at @jesuszamudiop, and Pithflow lives on the Microsoft Store. Every guide on the blog is published under my name because I stand behind what's in it.
