Voice to prompt: ramble in, clean prompt out
Talk through what you need. Pithflow types it as an organized prompt — every request kept, separate asks numbered.

To turn your voice into a prompt on Windows, click the AI tool's text box, tap Ctrl twice to switch Pithflow to Prompting, hold Ctrl + Space and say what you need. When you release, a clean prompt lands in the box: filler and repeats gone, two or more requests numbered, nothing answered or sent.
"okay so um I want you to look at the login page and like see why it's slow I don't know maybe it's the database and also can you uh can you add a dark mode to the settings and yeah also check why the login page is slow on mobile too"
Okay, so I want you to look at the login page and see why it's slow. I don't know, maybe it's the database. Also, can you add a dark mode to the settings? And also check why the login page is slow on mobile too.
Cleaned up, your wording kept
I want you to do two things: 1. Find out why the login page is slow, including on mobile. Maybe it's the database. 2. Add a dark mode to the settings.
A clean prompt for any AI — never answered

Every word as spoken, no AI rewrite
In the app: tap Ctrl twice, or right-click the bar.
The answer an AI gives you is only as good as the context you give it — who it's for, what you already tried, what format you want. Typed, that context is the first thing people cut. Spoken, it costs nothing, but a spoken prompt is messy: half-sentences, the same request twice, the important detail added at the end. Prompting keeps the context and fixes the mess.
Two or more separate asks become a one-line lead-in and a numbered list. A single ask stays one clean sentence. It never adds headings, markdown or politeness you didn't say — and it never answers the prompt. It edits, the AI answers.
In our own test on the live service, a three-request ramble came back as a lead-in and a numbered list after about 1.5 seconds of server processing.
No — they solve different problems. Voice mode is a spoken conversation: you talk, the AI talks back. ChatGPT also has a dictation microphone, and it works inside ChatGPT. Prompting is for the written prompt, in any app: it types into whatever box has focus, so the same key works in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or your company's internal tool, and the prompt waits until you press Enter.

You say what you want from an AI tool the way you'd explain it to a colleague — rambling, correcting yourself, adding things as they occur to you — and you get back a written prompt that's clean and organized. In Pithflow that's Prompting mode: filler and repeats are removed, and separate requests become a numbered list.
No. Prompting edits the prompt and never answers, runs or comments on it. It keeps every request, constraint, name and number you said, keeps your own voice ("can you…" stays a question) and never adds requests you didn't make.
No. ChatGPT's voice mode is a spoken conversation, and its dictation microphone only works inside ChatGPT. Prompting is for writing: it types a finished prompt into whatever box has focus — ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or any other app — and you decide when to send it.
Yes. It keeps the language you spoke and never translates. A prompt that mixes English library names into a Spanish sentence comes back that way.
In the Windows app (version 1.40.6 or newer), tap Ctrl twice: Structured becomes Prompting. Another double tap gives you Raw, and a third brings you back to Structured. Right-clicking the floating bar also switches.
